Description
For this project, I made a Multiplayer VR Game in Unity using the Photon PUN library. The game is a 1v1 paintball arena that was inspired by local paintball and laser tag arena. The game had a custom team and health system, flatscreen controls, and a custom arena. This game was built off the Sharpshooter project and included the original shooting booth in a separate location. It featured many of the same mechanics as in Sharpshooter, with new additions like multiplayer lobbies in VR and flatscreen; networked player health, color, location, and movement; a fully physical VR UI Widget system of buttons and levers; custom interaction mechanics, custom 3D models; and a custom “Go-Go” distance grabbing system. The guns, targets, and table were all created by hand in Blender.
